Carol has always loved working with people and has been involved in adult education and training in and around Basel for many years. Over this time she has worked for many major international companies and educational institutions in the area. In the course of her work, often in a busy corporate environment, she has met many people dealing with the challenge of coping with change, on a professional or personal level.
Recognising a real need in the people she was training and also for her own personal development, Carol decided to specialise in coaching and gained the Middlesex University accredited Certificate in Coaching at the Centre for Coaching in London. She also holds additional qualifications in Redundancy Coaching and Counselling, Coaching for Performance and Stress Management Coaching.
Carol’s approach is based largely on a Cognitive Behavioural practices, where the client, through a collaborative process of guided discovery, arrives at that “Ah-ha moment”, when they are able to identify exactly what has been holding them back. Carol believes that goals are as individual as each person she coaches and that success depends upon respecting this fact. Her natural empathy makes her an ideal choice for being coached through life changing moments, whatever they may be.
Some possible topics for coaching include:
Maximising your personal and/or professional potential
Redundancy and retirement coaching
Adjusting to life in a new environment
Achieving focus and control
Getting rid of destructive habits
Increasing your confidence to get back into the workforce
I’m a Mum, but I’m still ME!
Carol’s coaching sessions are equally effective in Personal or Life Coaching, Executive Coaching or Corporate / Business Coaching. It would be very unusual to need more than 12 sessions and typically 6 or 7 are fine, with some topics being addressed in just one or two sessions.
